According to latest figures, the count of centenarians in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

From 2004 and 2024, the figure of male individuals reaching 100 has tripled from 910 to 3,100. Over the same period, the count of women aged 100 or over almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are eager to listen to those aged 100 or over, their family or companions, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s transformative changes and shifts.
